Covid-19 Resources and Information

YouthBuild Charter School of California is excited to be back to school for in-person learning. We are committed to implementing the highest safety standards and protocols at every YCSC site. 

Learning Options: All of our school sites offer full-day instruction, five days a week, along with lunch and meal breaks and extracurricular activities. 

Safety: YCSC has the highest standards of safety. We have a spectrum of Covid-19 prevention strategies in place, in accordance with state and local guidance, including recommended face masks, Covid rapid antigen and PCR testing, temperature and health checks, hand sanitizer, ventilation, and deep cleaning and disinfection. All staff are required to be vaccinated or get tested each week. Though YCSC students are not currently required to be vaccinated, we strongly encourage all students and their families to get vaccinated if they have not done so already. YCSC will update these protocols as necessary to the latest public health guidelines for student safety.

Covid-19 Self Screening: Staff and students can now download the Preworkscreen App in order to complete Covid-19 self screenings and upload proof of vaccination, if necessary.
