Housing Opportunities:

• Palmdale Dream Center: transitional housing and program for young people ages 18-25

Training Opportunities:

• ACT Apprenticeship Readiness: Advancing Communities Together Apprenticeship Readiness Academy trains youth in construction related to building and trades which will benefit disadvantaged/underserved populations within the Antelope Valley service area.

Employment Opportunities:

• Ironworker’s Local Union 433- In partnership with Ironworkers (Local 433) and Advancing Communities Together
  • Requirements for Ironworkers Apprenticeship:
    

    • 18 years of age or older

    • Valid CA driver's license

    • Physically able to do work

    • Social Security card.

    • Pass a drug test

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Reliable transportation

    • Available for Interview at ACT Campus if selected

    • Available to attend all 2 weeks of Ironworker's Industry Boot Camp if selected
