Passing of Student Brenda Mejia

We are extremely saddened to hear about the recent passing of Brenda Mejia, a cherished student from our Avalon site at MBHA YouthBuild. She was involved in a fatal car crash and left behind three young children. We extend our deepest condolences to Brenda's family and loved ones and to the staff and students at the Avalon site. The family shared these beautiful words about her: "Brenda was very free spirited and was always the life of the party. She made light of every situation and never wanted to see anyone upset."
