Q&A with Anna España
Q: What brought you to YouthBuild Charter School of California?
Anna: I wanted to enroll in the YouthBuild Charter School because I'd heard great things about it. Everyone here is so helpful and they encourage you to get things done which has helped me a lot.
Q: What did you like most about your experience at YCSC?
Anna: The thing I liked most about the YouthBuild Charter School was that everyone was always so nice and teachers always helped you out in everything you need.
Q: What are some of the skills/lessons you learned at YCSC that you think will stick with you?
Anna: Some of the lessons that I learned were always be nice because you never know what people have going on, and this school has really taught all of us and brought all of us closer.
Q: Who or what has helped motivate you to graduate?
Anna: My teachers have helped me a lot which motivated me. If it wasn’t for my teachers being super helpful and Mr. McCoy, I don’t think I would have been motivated.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
Anna: My plans after I graduate are to go to college and continue with my plans to become a social worker or a preschool teacher. I love kids, so I would really love to accomplish that goal I have set for myself.
